Starting March 1st, Google will allow gambling apps in their Play Store for people to download to their mobile devices. This new rule will directly impact 15 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and the US.
Players in the US have been switching over to their mobile devices for their online casino games in droves in recent years. However, they have been having to directly download apps through mobile casino sites or play directly on the sites to do so.
Sometimes downloading these apps can take multiple steps, which can serve as a deterrent to players.
Google allowing these apps to be in their Play Store will make downloading much easier for players in states where online casinos are legal.

Gambling laws vary in the US state-by-state. As such, any gambling apps in the Play Store will come with limitations.
